The Children Feeding Program provides humanitarian aid for children primarily in the region’s rural areas, where the need is greatest. The program supports children aged 10 and under with food, milk, medicine, and clothing on a monthly basis. The cost to support one child is $20 per month. Program administrators purchase and deliver supplies directly to the children and their caretakers. The Children Feeding Program has served 100,000s children throughout its over 20-year history.
Geopolitical and pandemic conditions are unfortunately temporarily blocking our ability to send supplies to these little ones. The country has placed stipulations on incoming aid and restrictions on our oversight. We continue to monitor the situation carefully and will resume operations at the earliest possible opportunity. Until then, we continue to raise support for this vital program to ensure sufficient funds are available to provide immediate relief for these children as soon as doors open.
