YUST was the first Chinese joint-venture university in the Yanbian Autonomous Prefecture and grew to become one of the country’s top universities. The university boasted an international faculty and ensured students graduated with tri-lingual fluency. More importantly, values of integrity and service were instilled throughout the campus and student experience.
YUST held its final graduation in June 2021. The school is now in the process of transitioning into a private Chinese university. Administrators are working diligently to ensure the original mission of the school is preserved as new, like-minded leadership prepares to carry the legacy of YUST forward. YPF continues to support the administrators of YUST as they oversee this process, but we are not actively fundraising for the school at this time.
