About This Fundraiser
Every year, the PUST community gives each graduating student a new suit. This gift serves as a tangible reminder to the students of their experience at PUST and the relationships they formed with the faculty members. "PUST" is even stitched in Korean on the inner lefthand pocket, covering their heart. The students are always touched by this gift and wear their suits proudly. Help us reach our goal of $7,000 to purchase 100 suites for PUST's spring semester 2018 graduates. Every donation makes a difference!
Check donations can be made out to "YPF" and mailed to YPF, P.O. Box 336, Winnetka, IL 60093. Please specify "PUST Graduation Suits" on the memo line.
Having its first graduating class in 2014, Pyongyang University of Science & Technology (PUST) desires to educate students to develop infrastructure within North Korea and reinforce the value of personal character. PUST’s curricula offer a range of applied majors pertinent to real life in North Korea and also promote the concepts of peace and prosperity. With the completion of their studies, students are equipped with a global perspective that reaches across disciplines to develop their country. They are also given tools to engage in shared international efforts, drawing from their exposure to cross-cultural ideas and regular interactions with PUST’s international professors.
